Clinton Corners Evangelical Free Church
It is always exciting to be able to do work that will bless anyone who interacts with it. This project in particular was special for Brian and the team because of their shared faith. It was an honor for them to be able to build a physical and spiritual space for people to grow and develop their own beliefs.
Clinton Corners Evangelical Free Church had been meeting in a school gym for over 25 years. Every Sunday they would have to spend hours setting up the stage, sound system, seating, and more to accommodate their congregation, only to have to tear it all down only a few hours later. It was time for a change.
From the beginning, Bovee Construction stood out from other contractors because they were able to connect with the client in a way that the others could not. Brian created an entire set of architectural designs, 3D renderings, and a virtual tour that included every request of the client’s, as well as a number of recommendations based on his 30+ years of experience.

For this project, there were a number of factors that Bovee Construction needed to consider during the design and building phases. First, due to the nature of the project, Brian was sure to acquire all the necessary paperwork to satisfy the legal regulations around zoning, airspace, parking, and handicap accessibility on behalf of the client. Brian also accommodated all of the client’s specific requests, including a front stage and adequate seating capacity.

Throughout this project, Bovee Construction not only incorporated all the the client’s requests, but also made numerous recommendations to enhance the project (all while staying within the budget).
Some of these recommendations included adjustable lighting and wall sconces for a warm and welcoming ambiance, a 50-foot steeple to add to the traditional church appearance, custom crosses placed throughout the interior and exterior of the building, and taller windows to add more natural light and balance to the sanctuary.
